AREAS OF EFFECT:

Paratyphoid: Along with PMV-1, it is one of the most deadly and dangerous diseases for pigeons. It is one of the diseases pigeon breeders call "sway head" and it is quite difficult to diagnose. It is extremely contagious like PMV-1. This bacterium can also infect other avian species, mammals, and even humans.

Pigeon fanciers who experience a high rate of chick mortality in their lofts must suspect this disease. If the chicks die before they hatch or during the hatching stage, it is a sign that paratyphoid is present in the birds. This disease is so active and contagious that it can enter through the eggs' air pores and infect the chick.

In general, this disease is transmitted through the droppings of sick birds that fall into feeders and waterers used by other birds. Additionally, pathogen-laden airborne pigeon dust, food contamination (insects, mice, etc.), mating, and beak contact, as well as a sick pigeon feeding its young, can lead to contagion.

The challenging part about this disease is that while some birds may die, the rest regain their health but can potentially remain carriers of the disease in the loft. Therefore, after the completion of treatment, any pairs experiencing early chick mortality should be isolated and monitored. If chick mortality continues, it's highly probable these birds still carry the disease. These birds should be permanently kept separate from others.

How to use Pantrim Paratyson 25 gr?
Mix 1 full spoon (6 grams) into 2 liters of drinking water or 1 kg of feed.

Note: It comes with its own special spoon inside the bottle.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Remove waterers and feeders from in front of the birds the night before. Prepare medication-infused water the next morning when birds are eager to drink on an empty stomach, and give the medicated water to them. After at least 15 minutes following the medication, feed the birds.

Caution: During the treatment period, remove calcium sources (grit, clay, sand, mineral, grit stone, beak stone) from the birds' reach and do not feed them.

DURATION: Use for 5 to 7 days. The treatment is applied collectively to all birds in the loft. For prevention, use for 2 days every 15 days.
