AREAS OF EFFECT:

Paratyphoid (paratyphus): Along with PMV-1, it is one of the most deadly and dangerous diseases for pigeons. It is one of the diseases that pigeon breeders refer to as "head bobbing," and it is quite difficult to diagnose. Similar to PMV-1, it is highly contagious. This bacterium can also infect other poultry, mammals, and even humans.

Pigeon breeders experiencing a high rate of chick mortality in their lofts should suspect this disease. If chicks are dying in the nests before hatching or during the hatching stage, it is a sign that paratyphoid is in the birds. This disease is so contagious that it can pass through the air pores of eggs and infect the chick.

Generally, this disease passes to other birds from the droppings of sick birds that have fallen into feeders and drinkers. Additionally, pigeon dust in the air, food contamination (insects, mice, etc.), mating and beak contact, and sick pigeons feeding young can cause transmission.

The challenging side of this disease is that some birds die, while the rest regain their health, yet there is still the possibility they remain as carriers in the loft. Therefore, after the end of treatment, if there are pairs whose offspring die early, they should be separated from the other birds and kept under observation. If chick mortality continues, there is a high probability that these birds still carry the disease. Keeping these birds separated from others is always important.

DISEASE SYMPTOMS:

• Dark green mucous-like watery droppings

• Swelling in feet and wings, limping

How to use Pantrim Paratyson 100 gr?
One full spoon (6 grams) is mixed into 2 liters of drinking water or 1 kg of feed.

Note: The bottle contains its special spoon.

USAGE:

The night before, remove the drinkers and feeders from the loft. The next morning, when the birds are thirsty and hungry, prepare the medicated water and give it to them to drink. Feed should be given to the birds at least 15 minutes after medication.

Attention: During treatment, remove calcium sources (gravel, clay, sand, mineral, grit stone, beak stone) from the birds' reach, do not feed them.

DURATION: It is used for 5 to 7 days. Treatment is applied collectively to all birds in the loft. It should be used for 2 days every 15 days as a preventive measure.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS:

During treatment, do not feed sick birds with various mixed feed. Feed mainly with wheat and rice. Rice has the property of retaining water in the intestines.
