Care4Birds Orni mix is used for diseases such as Ornithosis, Pneumonia, Mycoplasmosis, Psittacosis (Chlamydiosis).

What is Care4Birds Orni mix 50 gr used for?

After treatments, it is recommended to use Biozyme probiotic and Fagel Multivitamin.

Ornithosis: Watery eyes, discharge, and swelling and redness around the eyes in one eye of the bird are symptoms. If untreated, blindness in one eye develops. Vomiting, greenish diarrhea, ruffled feathers, weight loss, mixed feathers, lethargy, slow growth in chicks, and lack of appetite are other symptoms.

Croyza: Watery eyes in both eyes of the bird, nasal discharge, foul-smelling mucus, phlegm in the throat, wheezing, and sounds like "kih kih" are symptoms. Watery greenish diarrhea, facial swelling, and weight loss are other symptoms.

Mycoplasmosis: Has the same symptoms as Croyza. Additionally, an increase in body temperature and lethargy in the bird is more evident. Cyanosis in the chest area and skin is observed.

Chlamydiosis: The incubation period of Chlamydiosis varies between 5-60 days depending on the host's sensitivity, age, species, virulence of the microorganism, entry route and amount, and environmental conditions. C. psittaci causes systemic infections in birds depending on the strain and host. In birds, the disease manifests in acute, subacute, chronic, or asymptomatic forms. Avian Chlamydiosis may cause lethargy, thirst, abnormal discharges, nasal and eye discharges, and reduced egg production. Mortality rates can vary greatly. The most common clinical signs in pet birds are lack of appetite, weight loss, diarrhea, sinusitis, conjunctivitis, nasal discharge, sneezing, eye discharge, and difficulty breathing. In most birds, especially older psittacine birds, clinical signs may not be seen; however, they can shed the agent for a long time.

Mix 5 gr into 2 liters of water.
