Care4Birds Orni mix is used for diseases such as Ornithosis, Pneumonia, Mycoplasmosis, Psittacosis (Chlamydiosis).

What is Care4Birds Orni mix 25 gr used for?

After treatments, it is strongly recommended to use Biozyme probiotic and Fagel Multivitamin.

Ornithosis: Watery eyes, discharge, and swelling and redness around the bird's single eye are symptoms of the disease. If not treated, it can lead to blindness in one eye. Vomiting, greenish diarrhea, fluffing, weight loss, tangled feathers, tension, slow growth, and loss of appetite in young birds are other symptoms of the disease.

Croyza: Symptoms of the disease include watery eyes in both eyes of the bird, nasal discharge, smelly mucus, phlegm in the throat, wheezing, and making sounds like coughing or sneezing. Greenish watery diarrhea, facial swelling, and weight loss are other signs.

Mycoplasmosis: Has the same symptoms as Croyza. Additionally, the bird may have a noticeable increase in fever and lethargy. Bluish discoloration is observed in the breast area and skin.

Chlamydiosis: The incubation period of Chlamydiosis varies between 5-60 days depending on the host's susceptibility, age, species, microorganism virulence, entry route, quantity, and environmental conditions. C. psittaci leads to various systemic infections dependent on strain and host in birds. The disease can manifest acutely, subacutely, chronically, or asymptomatically in birds. Avian Chlamydiosis may cause lethargy, thirst, abnormal secretions, nasal and eye discharge, and reduced egg production. Mortality rates can vary greatly. The most commonly seen clinical signs in pet birds include anorexia, weight loss, diarrhea, sinusitis, conjunctivitis, nasal discharge, sneezing, tear discharge, and difficulty breathing. In many birds, especially older psittacine birds, clinical signs may not appear; however, they may shed the pathogen for a long time.

5 grams is mixed in 2 liters of water.
Used for 5 -10 days.

Add to fresh and cold water daily. Do not use tap water.

Grit and mineral stones should not be given during treatment.
